Magic Crimping Using our new Magical Crimp Forming Tool and a sterling silver 2 x 2mm crimp bead, finish your jewelry securely and beautifully. The result is a crimp bead that looks like a 2mm round bead without the use of a crimp bead cover.
Step 1 String a crimp bead onto the tiger tail.
Step 2 String one end of the clasp on the tigertail Then go back through the crimp bead, creating a loop around the clasp.
Step 3 Center the crimp bead in the hole of the tool and squeeze.
Step 4 The crimp bead will look like a small ravioli.
Step 5 Open the tool and turn the bead 90 degrees (keep it centered in the hole) and squeeze.
Step 6 Continue rounding the crimp bead by repeating Step 5 about 3-4 times.
Step 7 When the bead is rounded and secure, it should look like a smooth 2mm round bead.
Step 8 Using your wire cutter, cut off the short end of the tiger tail
Step 9 String your favorite beads.
Step 10 Repeat Steps 1-8 to finish your piece of jewelry.
